Nashville SC Games
August 2, 23, & 30, September 27
Celebrate the end of summer with a Nashville SC home game at Geodis Park, taking place in August and September of 2025. Nashville SC is Music City’s Major League Soccer team. The match on Saturday, August 2, 2025, will mark the first time the Boys in Gold have played a club from one of the “Big Five” European soccer leagues.
Nashville Sounds Games
August 5-10, August 19-24, August 26-31, September 9-14
The Nashville Sounds, Nashville’s long-time Minor League Baseball team, has games in August and September of 2025 at First Horizon Park. Watch the game, play putt-putt golf, and enjoy a beverage at The Band Box, the stadium’s popular outdoor bar.
Dog Nights of Summer
August 7, 14, 21, & 28

Dog Nights of Summer takes place every Thursday in August 2025, at Cheekwood. This special, weekly event occurs during Thursday Night Out. Guests can expect drink stations for dogs and local vendors selling apparel and treats for their fur babies. All dogs must be on a leash.
Tomato Art Fest
August 8-9

The Tomato Art Fest will take place Friday and Saturday, August 8-9, 2025, in East Nashville. This two-day event will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the festival with local music, delicious food, costumes, shopping, activities for kids, and a parade. There is also a Pre View Party (ticketed event) on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The main event is free and open to all ages.
Wilson County Fair / Tennessee State Fair
August 14-23

The Wilson County Fair / Tennessee State Fair will take place from Thursday to Saturday, August 14-23, 2025. Make your way to Lebanon (see map / directions) for the state’s largest fair featuring rides, contests, food, and more. There’s something for everyone!
Deep Tropics Music, Art & Style Festival
August 15-16

The Deep Tropics Music, Art & Style Festival taking place at Bicentennial Park on Friday and Saturday, August 15-16, 2025, will feature a wide range of programming, including artists, musicians, muralists, and tastemakers. Attendees can expect two full days of music with a variety of performances by electronic and house acts.
Summer Shakespeare
August 21-24 & 28-31, September 1, 4-7, 11-14, 18-21

The annual Summer Shakespeare will take place at ONEC1TY on select Thursdays through Sundays in August and September of 2025. Guests can expect live theatrical performances outdoors, local food trucks, and adult beverages. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged.
Cheekwood Concert Series: Under the Stars
August 22-23

Enjoy an evening of songs at Cheekwood’s Concert Series: Under the Stars. Guests can expect world-class performances, craft cocktails, refreshing brews, and local food trucks. Dates include Friday to Saturday, August 22-23, 2025.

Music City Brewer’s Festival

The Music City Brewer’s Festival is Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Walk of Fame Park. Attendees can expect beer tastings, food, games, and live music. Ticket prices start at $20. Admission is 21 and over only.
Zzzoofari Slumber
August 30

Sunset Safari: Rhinestones & Rhinos

Sunset Safari: Rhinestones & Rhinos will unite wildlife and nightlife on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere.
