Songwriters Under the Stars, the beloved outdoor concert series set on Cheekwood’s picturesque Swan Lawn, returns for two unforgettable evenings on Friday and Saturday, August 21-22, 2026, beginning at 7:00pm at Cheekwood. This year’s lineup features Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Chris DeStefano alongside the Grammy, CMA, and Emmy-nominated Warren Brothers, with both acts sharing the stories and inspirations behind their biggest hits, all performed with the renowned Music City Symphony. The concerts will also include a heartfelt tribute to the late singer-songwriter and producer Brett James, a cherished fixture of the series for many years. Guests are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a relaxing evening under the stars with seasonal beers, wine by the bottle, craft cocktails, and bites from local food trucks and Perenn at Cheekwood.
Perenn at Cheekwood is also offering preorder food packages – a Garden Dinner Box serving one person for $35 and a Concert Appetizer Box serving two people for $35, both available to reserve at Cheekwood.org. General Admission tickets are $65 for members and $75 for non-members. Premium Package tickets are $150 for members and $175 for non-members and include exclusive front-of-stage viewing in a lawn chair, two drink tickets, and premium parking with a golf cart shuttle to the concert location.
