9 to 5: The Musical is coming to Belmont University’s Fisher Center from Friday to Sunday, March 20-22, 2026. Based on the classic 1980 film, the production features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and a book by Patricia Resnick. The story follows three unlikely coworkers who take control of their office and discover they can achieve anything, even in a man’s world.

The production is part of Belmont’s campus-wide Dolly U initiative celebrating Dolly Parton. As part of the celebration, the musical theatre department will present Parton’s first Broadway musical, featuring fan-favorite songs like “Backwoods Barbie,” “Get Out and Stay Out,” and the iconic title track, “9 to 5.”

Tickets start at $33. The event is open to all ages.
