Just south of the city, Berry Hill is a flourishing neighborhood (and its own city) best known for its wide-variety of locally-owned businesses, ranging from recording studios to restaurants to craft stores. The Berry Hill / Melrose area is home to some of Nashville’s most popular restaurants like Monell’s, M.L. Rose, and Calypso Cafe, just to name a few.

Many of the businesses in Berry Hill operate out of 1940s cottages, allowing each place to have its own look and feel. The eccentric vibe is attractive to musicians and craftspeople, while the less chaotic nature of the neighborhood appeals to doctors and lawyers.
