About The Catbird Seat

The Catbird Seat

The Catbird Seat, one of Nashville’s most influential restaurants that originally opened in October 2011, has reopened in a new space atop the Bill Voorhees Building on 8th Avenue South in Paseo South Gulch. The move marks a bold new chapter for the restaurant, offering a larger, more flexible space designed in collaboration with Dryden Studio, while preserving its iconic U-shaped counter—now made of Tennessee Pink Marble. Led by chefs Andy Doubrava and Tiffani Ortiz, the restaurant continues its tradition of innovation with a 15-course tasting menu that reflects the seasons, local ingredients, and regional flavors. The chefs’ ingredient-driven approach is complemented by thoughtful beverage pairings and an atmosphere that balances fine dining with high energy and fun. A new feature, the Wine Lounge, offers guests a stylish pre- or post-dinner experience with its own curated cocktail program.

Open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner, The Catbird Seat is now accepting reservations through OpenTable. Reservations open on the first of each month for the entire following month at noon CST. The tasting menu is $165 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Beverage pairings, both alcoholic and non alcoholic, are available for an additional cost. Reservations can be made through OpenTable.
