Sally’s Stay Awhile is a new concept from Strategic Hospitality opening in spring 2026 in Wedgewood-Houston. This all-day restaurant will take over the space previously occupied by Smokin’ Thighs. The name is in honor of Sally Rains Merritt, daughter of Wedgewood Houston’s original developer, John Rains.
