About Prime + Proper

Prime + Proper

Acclaimed modern steakhouse Prime + Proper is set to open its second location at Nashville Yards on Monday, February 23, 2026. The Detroit-based restaurant, known for redefining fine dining through exceptional service, meticulously sourced meats, and a 10,000-bottle wine cellar, will occupy 7,200 square feet inside Grand Hyatt Nashville at 1000 Broadway. The new location will feature the city’s largest restaurant dry-aging facility and host Prime + Proper’s exclusive Knife Society membership program. Designed by a team including Tury Designs and Remick, the upscale space will seat approximately 185 guests in the main dining area, with additional private dining and a 14-seat bar. The restaurant will employ a team of 65 and open for dinner daily, with brunch service to follow post-launch. Founder Jeremy Sasson emphasized Nashville’s rich cultural ties and culinary passion as key reasons for the expansion.
