Parson’s Chicken & Fish, a Chicago-based concept created by Land and Sea Dept., opened on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, in Wedgewood-Houston. Nashville is the third Parson’s Chicken & Fish outpost and the first location outside of its hometown. This award-winning restaurant includes a large outdoor patio, a roomy interior, affordable bites, and a must-try slushy. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

Parson’s bright and spacious interior includes bar seating, a main dining area, and garage door windows. Behind the check-in counter, t-shirts, beer, and hot sauces are available for purchase.

The Exterior

Parson’s outdoor patio space offers seating for up to 200 guests. The pet-friendly area includes plenty of shade, full-service from the kitchen and bar, and interactive outdoor games. Parson’s will use this outdoor area for community events including DJs, art crawls, and live music.

The Menu

Parson’s menu features comfort food and innovative cocktails using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. Menu favorites include their signature fried chicken and fish plus lighter options like fresh salads and ceviche. Parson’s famous ‘Original Negroni Slushy’ is a year-round favorite, in addition to their own Parson’s beer, a pale golden ale.

The Details

Fried chicken and fish, inventive cocktails, and a family-friendly atmosphere are some of the many reasons to add Parson’s Chicken & Fish to your list.
