Over 100 tubas will perform Christmas carols during Tuba Christmas Nashville on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Nashville First Baptist Church. There will be two 45-minute sets starting at 11:00am and 12:30pm. The annual concert features players ranging from young novices to advanced adults. The concert is free to attend, and you can park for free in the parking lot behind the church.
I have attended this tuba concert from the time it was held in Green Hills Shopping Center parking lot to the downtown Baptist Church. It is thrilling to see all age tuba players from teens to 90s perform and from many Middle Tennessee areas. It sets the tone for Christmas and so nice to see so many young people engaged in such a wonderful spirit for others’ pleasures.
