Summer Splash, the Nashville Zoo’s water-filled summer series presented by ICEE, is Saturdays, August 15, 22, and 29, 2026, from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Nashville Zoo. Festival Field transforms into a splash zone with slip and slides, animal-themed sprinklers, a bubble zone, and dedicated splash pools for younger children, plus rotating weekly activities like watermelon eating contests, scavenger hunts, ICEE samples, dunk-a-zookeeper, and water wars. Most activities are recommended for ages 6 to 12, and all children under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Guests can wear swimsuits under their clothing, but shirts, bottoms, and shoes are required throughout the zoo, and water shoes are strongly recommended. All Summer Splash activities are included with Zoo admission or membership.
