Olan Rogers, a Nashville native known for his acting, directing, and apparel line, is opening the Soda Parlor in Marathon Village. The grand opening celebration takes place Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th starting at 10am.
The Soda Parlor’s focus is soda, but it’s also the first storefront for Rogers’ popular apparel, which has mostly been sold online through the Olan Rogers Apparel website. The tagline for the store is “floats, pop, apparel,” so you can expect floats made with Jeni’s Ice Cream, good-tasting soda pop, and an assortment of Rogers’ clothing and accessories.
The Soda Parlor is located at 1200 Clinton St, Suite 20, Nashville, TN 37203. There isn’t an exterior sign, so walk inside the main Marathon Village building doors near Antique Archaeology and make your way to the interior shops. With the anticipated crowd, you probably won’t have any trouble finding the place. Parking is usually free in Marathon Village, but due to the expected increase in traffic for the Soda Parlor grand opening, event parking is $5. For more information on the grand opening and to RSVP, visit the Facebook event page.
