A Look Inside: Bower Nails

Bower Nails officially opens on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in Wedgewood-Houston. The new salon is named after the word “bower,” which means a quiet retreat or sanctuary, and that idea shaped the whole space. Founded by Wedgewood-Houston residents Andrea Fishkin and Amanda Soeder Gleaton, Bower sticks to manicures and pedicures and pairs clean, design-focused interiors with products that are easy on your nails and the environment. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

Jillian Downham Interiors designed the 1,700-square-foot salon to feel relaxed and elevated. There are 14 manicure stations and six pedicure chairs set among custom built-ins, stone counters, and plenty of soft, warm finishes. The pared-back look is meant to slow you down, so your visit feels good when you arrive and even better on the way out. Be sure to take a peek at the vibrant restroom, too.

The Services

The services menu is minimalistic and focused on healthy nails and a consistent, comfortable experience. Treatments include a hot towel massage along with oils, soaps, and scrubs made with local company The Herbalist Collective. Bower is picky about its polishes too, using brands like TheGelBottle and Lippmann Official, while trying to cut down on waste and lean toward sustainable products. During your appointment you can expect small comforts like drinks, blankets, and calming touches throughout. The goal is for guests to treat nail care as part of their regular wellness routine, the same way they would skincare or a massage.

The Exterior

Bower is located next door to Culture Club at 1214 Martin Street in Wedgewood Village, the 18-acre mixed-use project from Nashville-based real estate and hospitality firm AJ Capital Partners. Nearby parking includes surface lots and street spots, with validated parking available in select locations.

The Details

If you want a simpler, thoughtful approach to nail care in a space built to feel like a retreat, Bower should be on your list.
