DC Summer, an all-new seasonal event featuring action-packed DC Universe-themed attractions, is taking place every weekend from Friday, May 23, 2025, to Monday, September 1, 2025, at Gaylord Opryland. This new event is created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences. The event includes live shows, character dining, pool parties, themed scavenger hunts, and merchandise pop-ups—all centered around iconic DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains. Guests will experience DC elements throughout their stay, from check-in to check-out.
DC Summer Highlights:
- Battle for Justice Light Show: Nighttime show featuring Super Heroes and Villains in a dramatic light display with music and effects.
- Hall of Justice Character Dining: Meet Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman during themed meals.
- DC Super Hero Splash: Poolside party with games, trivia, and a DJ at the Cascades pool.
- DC Super Hero Academy Live Show: Interactive show where guests solve puzzles and train like heroes.
- Revenge of The Riddler Scavenger Hunt: Solve riddles throughout the resort with help from the Justice League.
- Super Hero Sightings & Photo Ops: Meet members of the Justice League around the resort.
- DC Craft Zone & Secret Menu: Creative stations for kids and hidden menus for guests using special codewords.

The DC Summer Legends in the Making Package is available on select Fridays and Saturdays, and includes a scavenger hunt booklet, $75 resort credit, and a themed welcome pack (cape, autograph book, and more).

Guests can also access Gaylord Opryland’s SoundWaves water attraction (separate package required), which features both indoor and outdoor water rides, a lazy river, and Nashville’s only FlowRider® surf simulator. NOTE: SoundWaves access is not included in the DC Summer package and requires separate booking at SoundWavesGO.com.
