Hi-Wire Brewing officially opened on Friday, August 18, 2023, in the Gulch. The Asheville-based brewery has taprooms in North Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, and Alabama, making Nashville its eleventh establishment. This taproom aims to be a neighborhood hangout spot that is kid-friendly and dog-friendly—pups must be on a leash, but are allowed indoors and outdoors. There will also be fun weekly events coming soon, including drag shows and silent discos. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

The interior at High-Wire Brewing is spacious and vibrant. The walls are painted with colorful murals done by Ian the Painter, who has created murals for each location. There are games set up throughout the space, including ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and more. Guests can expect ample amount of seating and fun merchandise like hats, barware, and clothing.

The Exterior

High-Wire Brewing is situated in the mixed-use building Modera Gulch. There is an outdoor covered patio that is open rain or shine. Free two-hour garage parking is available, but guests must scan the QR codes inside for validation.

The Menu

The menu at High-Wire is comprised mostly of beer, but also has a few wines, cocktails, and spirits. If you like sours, the taproom-exclusive Pink Lemonade Beer is a hit! Beginning next year, there will be a Mug Club that offers discounted beer and exclusive events. Membership can be purchased in mid to late November. For food, there are a couple of snacks on the menu, but guests are welcome to bring their own food or order from any of the delicious spots located near by. See the full menu.
