The Hot Diggity Dog Fest, the ultimate festival for dog lovers, is Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Capitol View. Now in its fourth year, the free street festival takes over Nelson Merry Street for a full day of dog-centric fun, and the theme for 2026 is “The Great Dog Show.” Bring your dog and your dog-loving friends for great food, local pet adoption organizations, unique dog-related products, and a Top Dog Contest.
Food and drink vendors include 2 Girls N A Hot Dog, Elvis’ Shaved Ice, Betsy’s Lemonade Stand, and Big Machine Distillery. Pet-focused vendors and services on hand include Miss Kitty’s Dog Resort, Ridgeside K9 Nashville, Nashville Cats, Wagg Swagg, Wiggle Butt Wagon, and Refresh Pets. This year’s nonprofit partner is the Live Like Roo Foundation, which supports families whose pets have been diagnosed with cancer. Admission is free and open to all ages, and guests can reserve a spot in advance through Eventbrite.
Note: All dogs must be on non-retractable leashes to enter the festival.
