Teddy’s Tavern officially opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in the former Pancho & Lefty’s location next to Rippy’s and across from Bridgestone Arena. This neighborhood bar and restaurant concept comes from The Nations Brewing Co., which includes Fat Bottom Brewing, Music City Beer Co., and Bravazzi Hard Italian Soda. While most locals might avoid Broadway, Teddy’s Tavern strives to be a fun gathering spot downtown for Nashvillians to enjoy without the touristy atmosphere. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

Teddy’s Tavern has three levels. The first and second floors both include stages for live music, expansive bars, and a variety of seating options. The third floor is a rooftop currently under construction and is slated to open at the end of May 2023. Before leaving, make sure to check out the merchandise wall on the first floor with t-shirts, shot glasses, koozies, and more, all available for purchase.

The Exterior

Teddy’s Tavern is situated in one of Downtown Nashville’s oldest buildings dating back to 1820. This establishment is conveniently located on 5th Avenue across from Bridgestone Arena, which makes it a great spot to check out before and after a game, concert, or event.

The Menu

The menu is comprised of beer, cocktails, and elevated bar bites. The food menu is small but mighty! Guests can expect tasty plates like Dublin Nachos with Beer Cheese, Deep Fried Mac and Cheese Balls, and Teddy’s Cheeseburger and Cottage Fries. For beer lovers, $6 Music City Light pints are offered all-day long daily.
