Wedgewood-Houston

Wedgewood-Houston (sometimes referred to as “WeHo“) is one of Nashville’s fastest developing neighborhoods. This area is located between Wedgewood Avenue and Houston Street, just south of Downtown. With easy access to Downtown via 8th Avenue South or Nolensville Pike and its close proximity to the Gulch, Edgehill Village, 12 South, Melrose, and Hillsboro Village, Wedgwood-Houston is becoming a go-to place to live, work, and play.

Houston Station, a large building housing dozens of local businesses as well as a popular event venue, has been a long-time anchor for the neighborhood. Hemingway’s and Bastion are two must-visit destinations in the historic structure from the 1800s.

Track One is another historic multi-use building in WeHo with over 20 local businesses and galleries. Often a top choice for city events and festivals like Crafty Nashville and Nashvember, Track One has up to 14,000 square feet of event space to accommodate crowds of almost any size. Grab a bite to eat or a brew at Clawson’s then browse around.

While the neighborhood has always been primarily single-family homes, new apartment complexes and condos, like Six10 Merritt and Twelve60, are following the blossoming retail trend.

Before departing the neighborhood, order wings from Smokin Thighs or burgers from Gabby’s.
