Tacos El Terry opened Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 111 4th Avenue South, right at 4th and Broadway in Downtown Nashville. It’s a fast-casual taqueria from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, the group behind Aba in Wedgewood-Houston and Sushi-san in 12 South. The name is inspired by a taco stand in Northern Mexico run by a man known as El Terry. We stopped by to get a look inside.
The Interior
The downstairs is standing room only, with tiled walls and counters throughout the room where guests stand to eat. Orders go in at the counter, where the taqueros work the grill under a row of photos of famous Terrys, and there’s a self-serve salsa bar to dress up the tacos. The second floor is available for private events, with plans to open it up as overflow seating with QR code ordering down the road.

Tacos El Terry sits on the corner of 4th Avenue South and Broadway, a block from Bridgestone Arena and near all of Nashville’s famous honky-tonks. The late-night taco window is a highlight, where guests can order their favorite tacos without stepping inside.
The Menu
The menu is short and easy to grasp: tacos and quesadillas on housemade corn tortillas, plus a few sides. Taco options are Pollo Asado, Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Mixta (chicken, steak, and pork), and Grilled Avocado, all between $4.95 and $6.95. Each one comes with onion, cilantro, and avocado salsa. Any taco can be ordered “Terry’s Way” for $2 more, which puts it on a red corn tortilla griddled crispy with melted cheese. Quesadillas run $5.95 to $8.50 with the same fillings or plain Chihuahua cheese. Sides are Chips and Guacamole, Esquites, and Chiles Toreados (griddled jalapeños and knob onions).
Drinks include frozen Margaritas and Palomas, Mexican Coke, Jarritos, aguas frescas, and Mexican beers like Modelo, Corona, and Pacifico.
Get a ticket for your order and hand it to the taquero who will prepare your tacos.

Tacos El Terry is open for lunch, dinner, and late-night every day, with carryout, delivery, and catering available. This is an easy stop for a quick bite in Downtown Nashville. Sing Bar, a live music bar from the same group, will open upstairs at a later date.
