Thousands are experiencing the effects of Nashville’s most devastating ice storm in history. Last week’s winter storm hit Nashville hard, starting with snow on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Conditions quickly started to change late Saturday and into in the early hours on Sunday, January 25, 2026, leaving many residents without power, heat, or safe travel conditions. Icy roads, downed lines, and extended outages impacted over 200,000 households, along with businesses across the city.

As of February 1, 2026, over 37,000+ customers in the Nashville area are still without power, according to the Nashville Electric Service outage map.

As recovery continues, warming locations remain a critical resource for anyone needing heat, electricity, or a safe place to rest. Listed below are 24/7 warming locations with food access and businesses offering free food and discounts.

Note: Information and hours may change without notice. Please make sure to check with each warming location and business before traveling.
