Movies Under the Giant Guitar, a new outdoor movies series, is taking place on select dates during the fall of 2025 at The Outfield in Wedgewood-Houston under the iconic giant guitar. The final showing of the series, featuring National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, is Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Attendees can expect an open-air cinema plus bites and beverages available for purchase on-site from local vendors including Daddy’s Dogs, Bullbourne Bison Smashburgers, Hippie Sip Coffee, and Memoir Beer, Wine, & Cocktail Bar. Be sure to bring your own blankets and chairs. Admission is free. All ages are welcome.

Head to The Outfield before the final screening to catch the Wedgewood-Houston Holiday Market featuring local artisan vendors, food trucks, holiday cocktails, hot cocoa, live music, and more from noon until 4:00pm. Get more details.
