A Look Inside: Cliff’s Lounge & Oyster Bar

Cliff’s Lounge & Oyster Bar, a brand new concept from Tennessee-based hospitality group A. Marshall Hospitality, officially opened on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in the Downtown neighborhood. This new raw bar and cocktail lounge is situated at Deacon’s New South, located in the historic L&C Tower. Guests can expect fresh oysters, delicious bites, a curated beverage menu of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirit-free options, along with weekday happy hour specials. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.


The Interior

Cliff’s has taken over the auxiliary bar space at Deacon’s New South. This new spot welcomes walk-ins seeking an approachable raw bar and cocktail lounge experience. The interior features Art Deco and industrial design elements with an overall cozy atmosphere. For seating, guests can enjoy their bites and beverages either in the atrium or bar area.


The Exterior

Cliff’s is situated within the L&C Tower on the historic corner of 4th Avenue and Church Street. Guests can enter through Deacon’s New South and continue through the atrium to find Cliff’s. When weather permits, the outdoor terrace is open with seating. Discounted parking is available within select parking garages nearby with Metropolis.


The Menu

The menu at Cliff’s features a variety of flavorful bites, creative cocktails, wine, beer, and spirit-free options. Food menu highlights include Shrimp Ceviche, Housemade Meatball Crostini, and Fried Oyster Sliders. For drinks, the Deacon’s Dirty, Native Garden, Havana Smoke, and Paradise Lost come highly recommended. If you’re looking for great happy hour specials, Cliff’s offers $8-$9 cocktails, $12 Whiskey flights, $8 wines, $8 house spirits, $5 beers, and $8-$10 bar bites every Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
