A Look Inside: Vandyke Bed & Beverage

Vandyke Bed & Beverage is a new boutique hotel located in the heart of the Five Points area of East Nashville. This contemporary bed and beverage includes eight individually-themed suites, a bar on the ground floor, an outdoor patio, and a private rooftop patio for hotel guests. The doors officially opened on Monday, April 1, 2019. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Bar & Kitchen

All are welcome for beer, wine, and cocktails at Vandyke’s bar. The spacious layout includes multiple seating options, bar seats, high tops, couches, and tables. Guests can sip a refreshing beverage while admiring one-of-a-kind purchases and commissioned pieces from local East Nashville artists.

The Courtyard

When weather permits, the courtyard is available for al fresco drinking and dining. This space, which is open to the public, features outdoor seating and a full-service bar.

The Rooms

The Gin Room

Nashville interior designer Brooke Prince created each hotel room to reflect individual spirits. Two of these rooms are featured here, including The Gin Room and The Champagne Room.

The Gin Room is a mid-century modern suite located on the second floor with a street view of Five Points. This room includes a queen-size Tempur Pedic mattress, a standing shower, and Beekman toiletries.

The Champagne Room

The Champagne Room is located on the top floor. This vibrant tropical oasis includes a Murphy Bed as well as a queen bed, a dining room table, and a small kitchen. For larger parties, it is possible to adjoin rooms with the Whiskey Suite. This room extends outdoors with a private terrace with views of East Nashville and the iconic Batman building.

The Rooftop Patio for Overnight Guests

The rooftop patio is an exclusive space for hotel guests to relax and soak up some sun. There is comfortable outdoor seating, including couches, loungers, and chairs surrounded by colorful plants and flowers.
