A Look Inside: Bare Naked Bagel

Bare Naked Bagel, Nashville’s original handmade bagel food truck, is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Hillsboro Village on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. The concept started in 2014 after a few New York transplants realized there wasn’t an authentic bagel food truck in Nashville. With a growing customer base and a need for a consistent kitchen, it was time for a permanent location. Nashville Guru got a look inside the new stationary space.

The Interior

Bare Baked Bagel is located in an old house, maintaining a lot of the welcoming aspects of home—hardwood floors, natural light, an open floor plan, a fireplace—but they spice things up with a graffitied BNB mural and bright orange walls. There are two main rooms with booth seating along the front wall plus numerous tables and chairs.

The Exterior

Bare Naked Bagel’s front patio has four picnic tables with umbrellas, a large group table, and an outdoor sofa and chair set.

The Menu

While the made-from-scratch bagels are the stars of the menu, there are other tasty options, too, like soups, bagel sandwiches, and deli favorites. Menu items include matzah ball soup, Not-So-Meaty bagel sandwich (roasted eggplant, zucchini, red peppers, hummus), and Mana’s Meatballs (housemade meatballs, tomato sauce, provolone). They also serve Bongo Java coffee so you can get your caffeine fix. See the menu.
