M.L.Rose is a well-known neighborhood pub in Nashville. The first location opened in the Melrose area in 2008 followed by a second location in Sylvan Park in 2012. M.L.Rose Capitol View officially opened on December 2, 2017, making it the third location for the popular beer and burger joint. Nashville Guru got a look inside the new North Gulch / Capitol View outpost.

The Interior

M.L.Rose Capitol View does a remarkable job of maintaining the whimsical and casual aesthetics of the other locations. There are large group booths and tables, a bar, and two garage doors that open to the exterior patios. There’s a lot of character in this space, from creative coat hooks to pink light fixtures to gritty art.

You’ll certainly get a dose of nostalgia at M.L.Rose Capitol View. The walls are covered in reminders of the past like black light posters, Mad Magazine covers, old advertisements, and large cutouts of pop icons like Urkel and Snoop Dogg. Grab the Lego booth in the back for a little old school entertainment.

The Exterior

The exterior features two patio areas. Garage doors open to the interior bar and dining room.

The Menu

Craft beer and burgers are the buzz here. There are 36 beers on draft, including local and regional favorites. M.L.Rose’s craft burgers range from the Nash Vegas on a sweet potato bun with pimento cheese, crispy tobacco onions and barbecue sauce to your classic cheeseburger. The waffle fries are a must. Get ’em cheesy, loaded, or topped with bleu cheese crumbles.
