The wait is over — Barcelona Wine Bar is officially open in Edgehill Village. The new restaurant and wine bar softly opened on Monday, November 7, 2016. With 11 other locations in five other states, Barcelona Wine Bar is a proven concept Nashvillians have been anticipating for over a year. Nashville Guru got a look inside.
The Interior
The roomy interior has three main dining sections, including a front section, a back section, and a central bar area. Features include high ceilings, natural light in the front and back, and earthy tones.
The Exterior
The outdoor patio is partially covered and surrounded by plant life. There are about a dozen tables and heaters so guests can still enjoy the patio on cool nights.
The Menu
Barcelona’s menu focuses on charcuterie, cheese, and tapas-style plates. There are also salads, sharable menu items, and, of course, a wine list featuring hundreds of options. The kitchen is lead by Executive Chef Andy Hayes and Sous Chefs Daryl Emig and Justin Thompson. See the opening menu below.
