After over a decade of success in The Gulch, Watermark Restaurant will uproot and relocate to the SoBro area in late 2017. Watermark will be the sole retail tenant at the new Bridgestone’s Americas headquarters located at 210 4th Avenue South. The new restaurant will occupy 8,000 square feet of the ground floor.

“We saw an opportunity to be included in one of Nashville’s most exciting projects,” says director of operations Hughes Brown. “The chance to serve our patrons from this central location is one that couldn’t be missed, and we believe it will be a seamless transition for our team and guests.”

Watermark is also mixing things up in the kitchen with the addition of executive chef Elliott Cunniff, who most recently serve as chef de cuisine at SoHo Grand Hotel in New York City.

“My goal is to elevate the already fresh, delicious and local cuisine that Watermark has become known for. We have been working hard with farmers and vendors to source the highest quality ingredients from around the world and our own backyard,” says Cunniff. “My cooking is influenced by our team’s varied experiences in some of the best restaurants in the country, and everyone is very excited to take the menu in a creative new direction to provide an amazing dining experience for our customers.”

“After 11 years in business, we are embracing change and growth to be able to give our customers the best possible experience,” says Brown.

Watermark will remain open in the Gulch until the new restaurant is ready for business, so there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere and cuisine at the original location.
