Farm Burger, a grass-fed and locally-sourced burger joint, is slated to open on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Sylvan Heights across the street from Double Dogs at 4013 Charlotte Avenue. Farm Burger was founded in Decatur, Georgia in 2010. Farm Burger Nashville is the ninth location nationwide and the first to open in Tennessee. Farm Burger is known for providing pasture-raised meats at accessible prices. Nashville Guru got a look inside the new restaurant.
The Interior
Farm Burger Nashville is situated in a fresh 3,000-square-foot space with rustic tones and design. Seating includes large tables and benches, bar stools, and chairs. Three garage doors open to the covered patio. Farm Burger is family-friendly, too, with a kids’ play area in the back with soft flooring.
The Exterior
Farm Burger has a large covered patio overlooking Charlotte and 40th Avenue. There are sturdy picnic tables and several two-top seating options.
The Menu
The menu features 100% grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free chicken, pasture-raised pork, veggies, salads, and sides. Farm Burger Nashville will source many of its ingredients from local providers, including Tennessee Grass Fed Farm (for pasture-raised pork), Johnson’s Honey Farm (for honey), Hatcher Family Dairy (for dairy), Old Spencer Mill (for grits), and Pied Piper (for ice cream). Beverages include options like floats, milkshakes, and local brews from Jackalope, Little Harpeth, and Fat Bottom.
The Details
“We’re looking forward to becoming a neighbor in Nashville’s Sylvan Heights,” said Farm Burger’s Co-founder George Frangos. “It’s an honor to be welcomed by such a vibrant community and city that shares our passion for good, local food.”

Awesome!
Went today for the first time. Fantastic food in a very cool and comfortable setting. Totally a place you can bring kids (the tables would accommodate families well) and relax with friends. And, dude, do NOT pass on the sweet potato hush puppies. Because seriously. Prices are better than expected. This one will make the rotation.
