Five Daughters Bakery, a local pastry shop, officially opens in 12 South on Saturday, January 16, 2015 at 9am. They subtly announced their grand opening via Facebook. Five Daughters Bakery specializes in pastries made from scratch daily. They always use non-GMO products, and source locally and use organic ingredients when possible.

The family business is owned and operated by Isaac and Stephanie Meek along with their five daughters. Isaac’s great grandfather owned a cake shop and his grandfather owned a pizzeria, so local business and baking comes naturally for this family.

Five Daughters also has a Franklin location inside The Factory and can be found at various locations in Nashville, including Barista Parlor, Jam Coffeehouse, and Ugly Mugs.
