According to a release on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, Chef Deb Paquette and her Etch partners are seeking a new location for Truss, their highly-anticipated restaurant in Sylvan Park. The group ended the lease agreement due to disagreements between the neighborhood, city, and developer.

“We are all very sad that things didn’t work out the way we’d planned in Sylvan Park,” said Paquette. “The outpouring of support from the community through this process has been heartwarming. This location was exactly what we wanted and we are sorry we couldn’t deliver this restaurant to the neighborhood and surrounding area.”

The project has had a lot of push-back and controversy since construction began, mostly due to its size. The group is looking for a new location for the restaurant, and already have their eyes on a new spot in another area of Nashville.
