Cochon Butcher officially opened in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11am. Cochon Butcher is a tribute to Old World butcher and charcuterie shops, but also serves a bar menu, sandwiches, wine, and creative cocktails. Cochon Butcher is the creation of James Beard Award winning chefs and business partners Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski in partnership with Nashville native Michael Bodnar and Nick Pihakis of Fresh Hospitality Group.
The Atmosphere
The atmosphere is casual and approachable with plenty of space. Dine inside or out at one of the dozens of tables. Stop by for lunch or dinner, or get take-out for the whole family. They don’t take reservations, but you can call 615-567-5887 for take-out orders.
Cochon Butcher has a large covered patio, which is ideal when you want to be outside but stay sheltered from Nashville’s unpredictable weather.
The Menu
Cochon Butcher Nashville is driven by Executive Chef Levon Wallace. Wallace is serving a similar menu to Cochon Butcher’s sister restaurant in New Orleans, highlighting the Cochon Butcher branded all-natural pork products. The menu includes items like a buckboard bacon melt, cajun pork dog on a pretzel bun, and small plates such as marinated Brussel sprouts. Check out the full dine-in menu below.
