Madeline announced they are permanently closed via Facebook on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Madeline opened on March 9, 2015, so they were only operating for about four months before pulling the plug. They announced their new delivery service on July 21st, so signs of closing weren’t obvious.

Madeline’s announcement reads:

We want to thank all the wonderful people who came in and supported us over the last 5 months. Sadly, we have had to close the doors until further notice. You are all awesome for helping us try to make Madeline work, but we just couldn’t keep it together on our end. We are working to get something in here that you can enjoy. Many, many thanks.

In response to comments, they continue:

Thanks so much, everyone. You are all so sweet. We’re just sick over this, and we really do hope to get something in here for you asap. You’ve all been wonderful coming out to support us. Couldn’t ask for better neighbors.
