A Look Inside: Little Octopus

Little Octopus is out of business. Bar Otaku took over the space on January 12, 2019.

Little Octopus, which originally opened in East Nashville in mid-2015, officially opened at its new location in the Gulch on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Little Octopus is a concept by Sarah and Brad Gavigan, the team behind Otaku Ramen just a block away. The cuisine, which is heavily inspired by Caribbean influences like Spanish, English, Indian, Portuguese, and Lebanese, is under the direction of Chef Daniel Herget. Expect a rotating, seasonal menu.

The Interior

From the street, Little Octopus may appear small, but the interior is actually quite spacious. Features include numerous mirrors, vibrant plant life, light-toned furniture, and gold accents throughout. A large Octopus mural fills the back wall. Seating varies from two-top tables to bar seating to large community tables.
