Americano Now Open

Americano, a freestyle tapas bar, took over West End Cafe’s location at 1720 West End Avenue. Americano had a soft opening on Friday, May 15, 2015. Regular hours started Monday, May 18th. An official grand opening celebration will follow in early June, according to their publicist. Americano is the creation of former Alegria owner, George Haddad, and Dr. Tony Langone. 

Chef Mark Dobbs, former executive chef at Alegria, will take the reigns as executive chef at Americano. The menu features tapas, salads, and large plates of Latin influence with hints of Nashville flavor. The drink menu will include beer, wine, and liquor with an emphasis on tequila. The specialty cocktail menu was created by Austin Ratcliff of former Anthem.
