Seed Hospitality, the company behind Zumi Sushi and Two Ten Jack, is at it again. Zumi Sushi in Hillsboro Village will be closed and transformed into a new restaurant concept named Lucky Belly this December. Zumi will remain open through Saturday, November 22nd and Lucky Belly is scheduled to open on Friday, December 5th.

Lucky Belly’s focuses will be hamburgers, sushi, and spiked shakes made with Jeni’s Ice Cream. You may find this to be an odd combination, but it’s inspired by the fascination young adults in Tokyo have with American offerings. The new joint will combine Japanese and American traditions to create a unique dining experience in Nashville. Basically, they’re taking the best of Zumi (the sushi) and adding burgers! Who doesn’t love sushi and burgers?
