We were invited to sample the new food menu unveiled by the Tennessee Titans and Aramark yesterday. The Titans’ partnership with hospitality company Aramark began this year in hopes of stepping up the food scene at LP Field. Not only will the food be better, but so will the ordering process. Concessions at LP Field now have easy-to-read digital monitors and a tablet-driven point-of-sale system.
Let’s get to the food! You’ll notice a lot of changes with the types of concession stands this year. Not only are there brand new stands and concepts (mentioned below), but some welcomed changes to the old ones. The most exciting bit of news for University of Tennessee or Knoxville fans is the introduction of Petro’s Chili to the stadium’s food selection. Petro’s Chili is well-known as a crowd favorite at Neyland Stadium and throughout Knoxville. As far as the existing crowd pleasers, Logan’s Roadhouse will still be available and will add a hot chicken sandwich to their offerings.
New Stands:
- Six Nashgrille stands grilling up some yummy burgers.
- Four Chicken Coop stands with Bojangles chicken and fries.
- Six Petro’s Chili stands serving the Knoxville-known chili and chips.
- Four Provisions stands featuring the Music City Meatloaf Sandwich.
With these new concession options also come healthier choices like the Carved Turkey Sandwich or the Shrimp Steak tacos. On the vegetarian side, options include the Portobella Mushroom Burger, Penna Shiitake and vegetarian Petro’s chili.
You can enjoy these fresh changes and additions during the first Titans game against the Packers on August 9th.
Looking forward to this! LP needed an upgrade to the food options.
