Step inside Marquee, the vintage-inspired supper club and cocktail lounge located on the lower level of the historic Woolworth Theatre in Downtown Nashville. Guests can expect postmodern music, a cinematic atmosphere in an intimate setting, and a new elevated dinner and drink menu. Marquee offers a variety of events each month, ranging from live music performances to Murder Mystery Burlesque. Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended. Admission is 18+ only until 9:00pm, after that, it’s 21+ only. Operating hours are 5:00pm to 11:00pm Thursday through Saturday. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.
The Interior
Described as where “Hollywood glamour meets underground edge,” Marquee offers a sophisticated setting for an evening out. This intimate venue features cozy two- and four-top dining tables, plush couches, stylish lounge areas, an expansive bar, and a stage framed by glowing globe lights. Notable design elements include purple-hued chandeliers, ambient lighting, and gold mirrors lining the walls, all of which add to the venue’s glamorous atmosphere.
The Menu
Marquee’s menu features seasonal flavors and timeless recipes. Food highlights include the Steak Frites (strip steak cooked in rosemary butter, served with fries and a rich peppercorn sauce), Red Fish (Louisiana red fish served over pomme puree and asparagus, served with a garlic butter sauce), and Marquee Burger (three-blend burger patty with bacon jam, garlic aioli, lettuce, onion, on a brioche bun, served with fries). The cocktail selection is organized by spirit and includes gin, whiskey, cognac, vodka, tequila, rum, and scotch cocktails. Drink options range from classics with a twist, like the Brown Butter-Washed Old Fashioned and Cognac French 75, to playful offerings like the CCC (Cotton Candy Cocktail). The Exterior
Marquee is situated inside Woolworth Theatre on the lower level. Upon arrival, guests can check in at the foyer before entering the venue. Paid parking garages and surface lots are available nearby. Valet parking can be utilized at 505 Church Street (valet closes at 11:00pm).
