National ICEE Day Nashville Kickoff, a free ICEE giveaway celebrating the first-ever National ICEE Day, is Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm (while supplies last) at Bridgestone Arena Plaza. ICEE, headquartered in the Nashville area, is bringing the celebration to Downtown Nashville ahead of the nationwide debut on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, when more than 1,800 participating locations – including Walmart Fuel, Krystal, Urban Air Adventure Park, AMC Theatres, and Regal Cinemas – will also offer a small free ICEE while supplies last. Guests are also invited to make an optional donation to the Greatest Needs Fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, which supports research, innovative treatments, and family-centered care for children and families. Admission is free and open to all ages.
