Bastille Day in Wedgewood, an inaugural free, all-ages community block party, is Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Houston Street. The event closes Houston Street to traffic between Martin and Brown Streets, turning the corridor into a walkable gathering space with food and drink specials from neighborhood restaurants, retail activations, live music, and all-day entertainment. After the festivities, guests are encouraged to stick around for the monthly Wedgewood Houston Art Crawl. Admission is FREE and open to all ages. This is a rain-or-shine event.
