Ritual Community Sauna & Wellness Space officially opened on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in East Nashville. The new, locally-owned wellness destination offers a communal sauna experience for up to 12 people as well as private sauna studios for 1-4 people. Using saunas regularly is known to have many health benefits, from reducing inflammation to helping shift hormone-disrupting chemicals, according to Ritual. With community and connection always in mind, Ritual also hosts events and workshops to bring people together. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside the carefully-crafted space.
The Interior
Arched doorways, lush greenery, warm earthy tones, and low lighting come together to create a serene, retreat-like atmosphere. Heat up in the custom-built community sauna for up to 12 people inspired by the Finnish tradition and made from the highest grade Aspen and Red Canadian Cedar. Two lounge saunas using infrared heat are available for groups up to four people. There are also two solo saunas that have both infrared heaters and traditional heaters, a combination you rarely find. Be sure to browse the boutique for unique wellness goods, too.
The Exterior
Located at 1114 Porter Road in East Nashville, Ritual took over the space previously occupied by Old Made Good next door to Vinyl Tap. Street parking is available throughout the area.
What to Expect + Pricing
Ritual is one of the most affordable sauna experiences in Nashville. Towels are provided, but be sure to bring a water bottle to hydrate. Swimwear or athletic wear are required, and it’s recommended to arrive wearing them and ready to sweat. Showers are not onsite. All sessions are 45 minutes.
