Pastis Nashville is officially opening on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. Pastis is an iconic NYC-based Parisian brasserie with other outposts in Miami and Washington, D.C. The original location opened in New York City’s Meatpacking District in 1999. Pastis, now under STARR Restaurants, was founded by Keith McNally, an iconic restaurateur behind Balthazar, Minetta Tavern, Morandi, and more. Nashville marks the fourth location for the Pastis brand. Guests can expect classic French fare served with a modern twist. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior
The Nashville location, designed by Keith McNally and Ian McPheely of Brooklyn-based Paisley Design NYC, replicates the restaurant’s signature touches, including the overall Parisian aesthetic, a centrally located curved zinc bar, red banquettes, and white subway tile. Guests can expect charming details throughout the space, such as tin ceilings, antiqued wooden chairs, mosaic floors, and hand-painted mirrors by designer Robert Padilla. The restaurant accommodates 170 guests in the main dining room and 18 guests at the grand bar.
The Exterior
Pastis Nashville is situated in a historic building called May Hosiery Mills, a former sock factory dating back to 1909. The 8,400-square-foot restaurant is located near popular businesses, including Soho House Nashville, Flamingo Cocktail Club, Hermès (coming soon), Americano Lounge, and Bastion. An outdoor patio, accommodating 75 guests, is set to be completed later this summer.
The Menu
Pastis Nashville has an approachable menu with classic French bistro offerings like Onion Soup (gratinée), Boeuf Bourguignon (pommes purée, bacon lardons), and Duck Confit (frisée, pommes tapeés). Pictured here are the Scallop Crudo (passionfruit, hazelnut), Tuna Crudo (sauce ravigote), and Trout Amandine (haricots verts, brown butter). The focal bar will be a main attraction at the restaurant, offering a variety of French-inspired cocktails and spritzes, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Signature cocktails include the Le Petite Pickle (vodka, house pickle brine, and “pickled things”), the Lady Marmalade (tequila blanco, orange marmalade, and lime), and the Eiffel Sour (chartreuse, alpine liqueur, pineapple, lime, and nutmeg). Pastis Nashville is opening with dinner service only, with lunch and brunch service to follow soon.

In your restaurant reviews, could you please include tips on parking? Nashville has become a parking nightmare, even if you use Spothero. WeHo has wee little parking. There is a small lot across from Dicey’s, as well as a couple of small lots on Martin Street. Thanks.
Hi JP, yes, we know parking is an issue in many areas of Nashville. We will try to include more parking details in future articles. Right now, the easiest paid lot with the most available space near Pastis Nashville is usually the gravel lot located behind Jackalope at Humphrey’s Street and Brown Street (map here).
