Little Rey is Nashville’s newest fast-casual, Mexican-inspired restaurant from Ford Fry, which officially opens on Monday April 14, 2025. This marks the fifth location for the concept, which is known for wood-roasted “chicken al carbon,” weekend breakfast tacos, mini hotcakes, margaritas, and soft serve ice cream. Fry and his team also brought several other popular restaurants to Nashville, including Superica, The Optimist, Star Rover Sound, and Le Loup.

Little Rey Nashville is currently in its soft opening phase, and is hosting a preview party on Saturday, April 12, 2025, starting at 5:00pm with FREE food, drinks available for purchase, and on-site activations like face painting, balloon artists, and a live DJ. All ages are welcome to attend.

The Interior

The Little Rey Nashville location is 4,850 square feet with a casual atmosphere and quirky decor. Walk up to the counter, order your food, then find a place to sit. There are a couple booths and a variety of tables and chairs to choose from, including larger group tables.

The Exterior

The exterior boasts a covered patio with fans and heaters to accommodate Nashville’s variable weather. This is a laidback spot to enjoy tacos and margs on a patio. There’s onsite parking plus nearby street parking available.

The Menu

From Pollo “Al Carbon” to Ensaladas to a variety of tacos, the menu offers a nice selection of Mexican-inspired cuisine. Satisfy your sweet tooth with their rotating soft serve ice cream, and be sure to stop by on the weekends during breakfast for their renowned mini pancakes. And every meal needs to be accompanied by one of their frozen margaritas.
