Play Playground Nashville, a high-energy entertainment destination for adults, officially opened on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Nashville Live! located at 128 2nd Avenue North. This new concept, which has one other location in Las Vegas, has over 20 immersive games (no VR or arcades), interactive experiences, and fun social spaces for photo ops and the ultimate night out in Music City. Play Playground opens daily at noon, offering daytime play for ages 16 and over until 6:00pm, then it’s strictly 21 and over only. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.
The Interior
The massive, 20,000-square-foot interior features physical, large-scale games like Doctor! Doctor! and Whiskey Run, plus puzzles and team challenges. Play Playground revives personal interaction by only incorporating hands-on activities without arcades or virtual reality. This is hassle-free entertainment for a first date, large groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, team building, and birthday parties.
There are two main pass options: Play Pass and UNLIMITED Play Pass. Play Pass includes 12 game credits (approximately 90 minutes of playing time) and full Playground and rooftop access. The UNLIMITED Play Pass includes three hours of unlimited game play, full Playground and rooftop access, a VIP lanyard and card, front-of-line entry privileges, and exclusive access to the dance floor stage. The Rooftop
Expect to soak in incredible views of the Cumberland River and Downtown Nashville from the rooftop. There are larger-than-life boots with the Batman building in the background, offering one of the best photo spots in Nashville.
The Menu
The drink menu at Play Playground steals the show, with everything from mocktails to drinking games to collectible cups like the 24-ounce Cowboy Boot (pictured above) and the 50-ounce PLAYPAL. Keep it affordable under the “Sippables” menu, or flash your cash with VIP Bottle Service.
The food menu is limited but mighty, with options like Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders, a Tennessee Smash Burger, Southern Hush Puppies, and gaming snacks like German Pretzel Sticks and Fried Cheese Curds.
