A Look Inside: Social Cantina

Social Cantina, owned and operated by Finney Hospitality Group, officially opened on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in the Germantown neighborhood. Nashville will mark the fifth location and first outside Indiana for the modern Mexican eatery. Guests can expect a vibrant dining experience, elevated cuisine, high-quality service, and an expansive patio overlooking First Horizon Park. The Interior

Social Cantina features seating for a variety of party sizes with large leather and fabric booths, sleek wooden tables, high tops, and an expansive bar area. The space is decorated with neon lights, fun accent pieces, and eye-catching murals created by local Nashville artist Murals by Loba.

The Exterior

Social Cantina is situated in the Starling mixed-use development. The 5,500-square-foot establishment includes a massive 100-seat patio that offers guests a front-row view of the Nashville Sounds stadium in addition to the Cumberland River Greenway. This patio is also dog-friendly.

The Menu

The menu at Social Cantina features traditional Mexican-inspired dishes with bold twists, specialty tacos of the month, and innovative flavors that elevate every meal. Pictured here is the Chicken Tinga Taco (tinga marinated chicken, guacamole, tomatillo crema, tropical pico), Fried Mushroom Taco (crispy portobello, roasted corn and poblano, tomatillo crema, red cabbage, cotija cheese), Grilled Chicken Burrito (marinated grilled chicken, grilled peppers and onions, cilantro lime rice, mixed cheese, white queso, adobo crema served with romaine, pico de gallo and charro beans), Fiesta Shrimp Bowl (seasoned and grilled shrimp, cilantro lime rice, guacamole, jalapeño, pickled red onion, red cabbage, pineapple habanero crema, tropical pico), Social Nachos (white queso, roasted corn and poblano peppers, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños, tomatillo crema, adobo crema), and a Chips and Salsa Flight (choice of two salsas: roasted red, verde, Chile de árbol, or mango habanero + two of the following: white queso, guacamole, pico de gallo, or avocado ranch).
