The Henry, a new-American restaurant and bar from Fox Restaurant Concepts, officially opened in the 12 South neighborhood on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The Henry is a neighborhood-friendly spot serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails in a brand new two-story space at the 12 South Collection. This is the sixth location for The Henry, which has other outposts in Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside the first Tennessee location, designed by Nelson Partners and Testani Design Group.
Coffee Counter & Bourbon Bar (Downstairs)
Guests enter through the first-floor burgundy entrance, where there’s a welcoming coffee counter for the mornings and a bourbon bar for the evenings. There are five booths, ideal for a conversation over coffee or cocktails. Head up to the second floor dining room via the stairs in the back.
The Main Dining Room (Upstairs)
The full-service restaurant and outdoor patio is located on the second floor. The open dining room is elevated with leather banquettes, lounge areas, greenery, and warm wood tables and accents. There’s a cozy bar area, too, which opens to the exterior patio.
The Rooftop Patio (Upstairs)
The outdoor patio is connected to the main dining room, where guests can dine anytime due to its flexible features. The rooftop and walls are retractable, and fans and heaters keep the temperature comfortable. There are hanging plants, string lights, and umbrellas to deliver the perfect patio atmosphere.
The Menu
The Henry presents a refined menu for any time of day, curated by Executive Chef Helen Mora. Standout items include the All-American Burger, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and Korean Prime Skirt Steak. Unique to The Henry Nashville is an all-day sushi menu, featuring Spicy Tuna and Crispy Rice, Rainbow Roll, and Pressed Yellowtail.
Guests can also enjoy a diverse cocktail menu, from classic Negronis and Palomas to signature drinks like the Amalfi Spritz and The Greatest Neighborhood Margarita.
