Tavern Midtown, a long-time Nashville favorite that opened in 2011, has been completely reimagined after a two-year hiatus. The popular restaurant from M Street Entertainment Group reopened on June 13, 2024, and includes an elevated menu alongside signature favorites, an expanded craft cocktail focus, and an elegant new interior. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside the reinvention.
The Interior
Tavern Midtown’s fresh interior offers carefully-crafted leather banquettes, an expansive bar with natural lighting, soaring ceilings, and greenery throughout. There are three main dining spaces inside, including a semi-private section, an upper dining area, and a lower dining area. The atmosphere is elevated, but still feels welcoming and warm.
The Exterior
Tavern maintains its exterior patio and front-row seat to Midtown’s portion of Broadway. There have been many changes to the neighborhood, including new living options, allowing Tavern to be a go-to destination for even more locals. There is a paid parking lot right next door, plus nearby street parking.
The Menu
Tavern’s signature dishes like the Red Velvet Waffle, Singapore Stir Fry, and “OG” Kale Salad are still available on the menu. Expect a variety of brunch options like omelettes, toasts, and salads, all-day options like Buffalo Cauliflower, Shishito Peppers, Sweet Heat Calamari, and burgers, and dinner options like Miso-Glazed Salmon, Steak Frites, Wagyu Fried Rice, and Korean Pork Belly.
The Details
We highly recommend experiencing Tavern 2.0 for yourself. You can now make reservations, which was not an option in previous years. Be sure to grab your spot for weekend brunch early!
