Golden Sound Nashville officially opened in the Gulch neighborhood on Thursday, July 18, 2024. This new cocktail bar shares a space with Sushi | Bar, an omakase speakeasy, and both concepts were created by Sushi | Bar Hospitality. Golden Sound Nashville is located in a historic building that was originally a recording studio and previously home to Barista Parlor Golden Sound. Guests can expect premium cocktails served in a retro atmosphere. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.
The Interior
Sushi | Bar Hospitality hired Remick Architecture, a Nashville-based design studio, to gather inspiration from the former recording studio and buzzing 1960s music scene to breathe new life into the space. The interior features a spacious bar area, curved leather banquettes, high-top seating, and intimate mood lighting.
The Exterior
The entrance to Golden Sound Nashville is located on Magazine Street. There are paid parking lots and street parking available nearby.
The Menu
The menu features premium spirits and creatively crafted cocktails including sub-zero martinis, highballs, and golden draft espresso martinis. Popular beverages include The Opposite Club (gin, lemon, dry vermouth, raspberry sorbet foam), Sotol Sour (lime, pineapple), and Smoke and Mirrors (tequila, passion fruit, jalapeño syrup, lime rim, house Nashville hot dust). All cocktails are $18 unless stated otherwise. See the full menu.
