The Finch American Grill, Milkshake Concepts’ newest Nashville restaurant, officially opened on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the Downtown neighborhood. This classy new eatery is situated in the historic baggage building of Union Station. Guests can expect an elevated dining experience, modern takes on classic American dishes, happy hour specials, and weekend brunch. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.
The Interior
The bright and spacious 6,896-square-foot interior, designed by Barnett Design Group, features a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. There are characteristics of The Finch’s signature style, including bird-feather wallpaper, blue porcelain accents throughout the restaurant, and gold fixtures. Noteworthy design features include signature marble-topped bars, a centrally located craft cocktail bar, three arched mirrors reflecting the train yard, and fully operational garage doors that will be open as weather permits. If you’re looking to host a large party, The Finch American Grill offers a variety of seating sections that can seat up to 46 guests and up to 60 guests standing.
The Exterior
The Finch American Grill is located next to The Union Station Nashville Yards Hotel and near the Frist Art Museum. There is a self-parking lot located behind the establishment. For lunch service, there is free validated parking for 90 minutes and for dinner service, there is $5 validated parking for 2 hours.
The Menu
The Finch American Grill offers daily lunch and dinner service, weekday happy hour from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, and weekend brunch beginning at 10:00am. The menus feature redefined American dishes such as Volcano Rock Shrimp (volcano sauce, spiced peanuts, sliced scallions), Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon (cedar plank roasted salmon, ginger-soy sautéed sugar snap peas, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, baby bok choy), and Cajun Chicken (blackened seasoned chicken, gemelli, spicy alfredo, roasted garlic, basil, parmesan confetti, focaccia toast points). Make sure to stop in for happy hour offered Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm for $7 house wine, $9 cocktails, $6-$9 starters, and $3 oysters on the half shell.
