A Look Inside: Harper’s Steakhouse

Nashvillians can offically steak in style at Harper’s Steakhouse, the new highly-rated restaurant from Milkshake Concepts. Harper’s officially opened in the SoBro area on Friday, August 18, 2023. Harper’s draws inspiration from various global influences, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas, to offer a unique and innovative steakhouse experience. Harper’s new lunch service is now available, too. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside the popular steak destination.


The Interior

Harper’s modern yet classic interior boasts intricate stonework and archways, complemented by vibrant wallpaper and lush greenery. There are multiple spaces, including a central bar, a main dining room, and the bright and airy Garden Room with natural light and large florals. The restaurant can easily accommodate parties of all sizes, from a casual lunch for two to a more elaborate private party.

Harper’s is now open for lunch and dinner service, with weekend brunch launching soon. Harper’s offers a diverse menu, including creative starters (“Arrivals”) like Beef Wellington Potstickers and Crispy Rock Shrimp Tempura, soups and salads, and entrées like Rigatoni Alla Vodka. They also have a Raw Bar with options like Oysters, Tiger Shrimp Cocktail, and Big Eye Tuna Sashimi.

The steak selection features classics like Filet Mignon and Dry-Aged Bone-in NY Strip, along with unique choices like Elk Tenderloin, Japanese Wagyu, and Lamb Chops with English Mint Sauce. For groups, there are “Large Format Cuts” like a 48-ounce Porterhouse and a 30-ounce Australian Wagyu Tomahawk. The meal ends with memorable desserts like Tableside Crème Brûlée with Champagne-marinated berries.

On the beverage menu, expect creative cocktails like the Wagyu Old Fashioned and the Dirty Politician. They also have a sweet after-dinner drink called The Goo Goo Cluster, plus a selection of refreshing mocktails. Their wine program includes a robust selection of wines, including a signature house wine from Maysara Winery in Oregon.
