GoodTimes officially opened on Friday, June 16, 2023, in Wedgewood-Houston. This full-service cocktail bar and restaurant is a sister location to Lucky’s 3 Star, located a couple blocks up. The doors open daily at 5:00pm, but sometimes earlier if there’s an NSC game happening—GEODIS Park is situated within a mile! Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

The 1,300-square-foot interior is decorated with ’70s and ’80s decor, checkered tile, patterned wallpaper on the ceiling, and a variety of bright greenery. There are long and short plush booths outlining the wood-paneled walls and a bar with stationary red-and-gold barstools.

The Exterior

When weather permits, guests can enjoy cocktails and bites on two exterior patios. The side patio is uncovered, and the back patio is a bit larger with some covering. Both spaces have bench seating and a colorful assortment of plants. For parking, there are spots available at the establishment and on select side streets within the area.

The Menu

The menu at GoodTimes features creative drinks with eight cocktails on draft to keep things moving—this spot can get busy. Guests can expect a fresh take on the dark ages of cocktails including Long Island Tea (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, peach black tea, lemon) and Fresh Appletini (vodka, pear brandy, granny smith apples, lemon). If you’re craving a tiki drink, try the Hurricane (rum, passionfruit, citrus) and Blue Hawaiian (rum, blue curacao, coco cream, pineapple juice). For food, you can’t go wrong with the GoodTimes Burger (two smashed patties, American cheese, pickles, onions, GoodTimes sauce), Cauliflower Wings (can be tossed in any wing sauce offered), or Mozzarella Wedges (served with marinara).
