The 20th Annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival, presented by Piedmont Natural Gas, is on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 11:00am to 3:00pm in East Park. Guests can expect a Fire Truck Parade (begins at 10:30am), an Amateur Cooking Competition, delicious hot chicken from Nashville’s best hot chicken restaurants, refreshing drinks, and more. Admission is free and open to all ages. All proceeds from this festival benefit Metro Parks & Recreation.
